We would like to thank Yvette for her help, prayers and support when our 7 year old son, Cole Evans, went missing in the mountains of Seligman, AZ. A special thanks Yvette's daughter, Rachelle, who also prayed and worked to spread the word to everyone, to pray. It was your prayers that brought the military (2 black hawks and the C130), the FBI, the countless horses and dogs that helped search, and the 5 counties of people out looking for Cole.
After 26 hours of looking, 15 degree temperatures, the wind blowing, nothing to eat and drink, and only jeans, boots, a t-shirt, and a light winter coat, he survived. Cole was rescued by a local couple from Seligman, Bill and Janet Pope, who were out searching land that they hunt on, from time to time.
By the grace God Cole was found in good condition. His lips were chapped, his skin a little purple from the cold, and he had bruises from falling on rocks. He was hungry and thirsty but just fine. God protected him all night and led us to him thanks to all of you who prayed. Cole should not have survived the harsh conditions.
We believe the "birdies" he claims to have made noises with and prayed with all night were angels protecting him. There are no words to express our thanks and gratitude to the over 100,000 prayer warriors that were invoked by word of mouth and social media to pray for little Cole.
Thank you Yvette for helping to find Cole! He is home, back in school, and doing well with no signs of trauma! God Bless you! The Evans Family
